Conrad S. Ciccotello serves as an independent director and audit committee chair of Tortoise Capital Advisors' closed-end funds. Dr. Ciccotello is currently a Professor and the Director of the Reiman School of Finance in the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. Previously, Dr. Ciccotello was the Chairman of the Department of Risk Management and Insurance at the Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University, where he was also the Director of the Asset and Wealth Management Program. As one of the nation's top scholars in financial services, Professor Ciccotello currently serves as a Research Fellow in the TIAA Institute. His research has been entered into the Congressional Record and cited in the Federal Register, and he has been quoted in numerous outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and Washington Post. For eight years, Dr. Ciccotello served as the investment consultant for the University System of Georgia defined contribution retirement plan. Dr. Ciccotello has over 60 publications, including several papers on master limited partnerships (MLPs), the subject of his doctoral dissertation at the Pennsylvania State University.
